LIGHT SHOW:  "FOLLOW THE DOTS"  

In any given media created work [film or video] — most, if not all — medium-close-up night scenes inevitably reveal an out-of-focus group of points-of-light. They pepper the black background void as overlapping discs or circles of light. This trope fascinates me for its evocative beauty and its uniqueness. These ‘Night Dots’ are an aberration of the camera lens and seen only by it — the naked human eye is unable to see this phenomenon. Knowing this as we look, these canvases enable us to view the Night Dots with a more revealing vision.This is how a trope endures.
