Oxana Balke

I am an artist based in Charlottesville, VA.

I was born in Moldova, lived in Belgium, Germany, and Italy. I have traveled to over 20 countries, love fashion and collect antiques.

I work at University of Virginia (UVA), graduated from Central Texas College (CTC), as well as the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC).

I work primarily with oil paint, using vibrant, bright and happy colors, in an effort to enhance the natural beauty of the world.

To me, painting is movement, living in a moment, even if that moment ends up being hours and hours.
